COS-LEP Phase 4
Delphi Survey Round 1 is live!
What is the objective?
The aim of this phase is to prioritize outcomes identified from previous COS-LEP phases. The objective is to begin building consensus regarding which outcomes should be considered for inclusion in the final core outcome set.
How will we do this?
Outcomes included in the Delphi survey were identified in the following ways
- A systematic review of all published outcomes in the literature
- Qualitative interviews exploring perspectives on treatment outcomes with healthcare workers and former/current patients with experience of leptospirosis disease
During a Delphi round, participants are invited to complete a consensus survey.
Participants will be drawn from key stakeholder groups, including;
- General public
- Current/former patient with experience of leptospirosis disease
- Infectious diseases healthcare professionals (including medical microbiologist)
- Other specialty healthcare professionals (including public health, nephrology, pulmonology, intensive care,
family medicine or other specialties) - Allied healthcare professional (including nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational health or others)
- Global health researchers (including lab scientists, epidemiologists, trialists, statisticians, One Health
practitioners, and others) - Policymakers (both governmental and non-governmental)
- Other (can be described further)
What will this add?
By the end of Phase 4, a narrowed list of outcomes will be produced which will have been assesed and voted on by stakeholders globally. This condensed list will be more appropriate to bring to a final consensus meeting.
